How I Got Here
Careers are rarely perfect linear exercises. Sometimes, looking at where we want to go in our career from where we currently are can seem overwhelming and even somewhat impossible. The idea and the practicality of a 5, 10 or 20 year plan can be daunting. Opportunities ebb and flow, passions and interests change, and sometimes reality sets in. When careers zig and zag, is that ok? What can be learned along the way? What SHOULD you be planning for in your career? Many times we marginalize our dreams or our potential because we’re not sure we can do it. And then we become stuck.
In the Catalyst Circle panel on May 9th, we’re talking to some pretty incredible been-there-done-that leaders who will share with us how they were able to overcome all of the hurdles thrown their way throughout their career to get to where they are. (And where they currently are is pretty kickass.) It will be vulnerable, real-talk and you’ll walk away with an understanding for many ways to get yourself on your own path to your dream career.

Creating and navigating a successful career is hard. There is no field guide, no how-to, no rules of the road. It’s on all us to figure it out. Finding mentors who can help and have been there and done that isn’t always easy. But, they’re out there and they want to help. We’re creating a forum to bring these rock stars to the people. Listening to and gaining exposure to accomplished executives and innovative entrepreneurs who have navigated issues, problems, and obstacles that we all go through is a game changer.
The Catalyst Circle gives you a peek behind the curtain for how successful people have gotten to where they are. We pack our events with inspiration and action, but more importantly real talk, no b.s. and just the frank rules of the road for how people have navigated their lives. You’ll walk away inspired and ready to level up where you’re going.
